New Passion: Peg Loom Weaving

On the 27th August in the town that I live, in the community center was holding a small wool event which I jumped at the chance to go. Even though it was a small event there was a lot going on there, about 4 spinning wheels were going on, felt making, weaving. It was brilliant and I am glad that I did manage to go to it as I have never been to an event like this.

After I watched a woman do a little bit of peg loom weaving I have become really interested in it. It seems very relaxing and different, I wont say easy because I am not certain on how it easy it is going to be. But they did say it was easy for the hands so that is something I am pleased about.
All I need to do now is try and get me a peg loom so I can have a go at it.

New Passion: Knitting

I have started to feel a craving for knitting and as I had found 2 sets of knitting needles for just a £1 I know that this was a good time to start this hobby again, I used to be able to knit when I was younger but not sure why I stopped doing it. There is a slight problem that I have found with leaving it for long, I can not remember how to cast on or to actually knit, my mum did teach me again the other day but somehow my fingers are not working with the needles that well.
I feel this will take me a while until I actually get used to it all over again..

New passion: Herbal Tinctures

Herbal tinctures have been on my mind for a while now and I was always researching up on how to make them and what they do etc.
So last night I got the urge to make one, a lavender tincture. I have been slightly scared to make one of these because I didn't know if I could do it plus I didn't know what herb to use.
Now I have to wait 5 weeks to see if it turns out alright and yes I will be making an entry about that lol, after 1 day you can already see the colour changing it is so interesting to see :P

New passion - Smudge feathers/fans

As the title says, I have found a new passion for Smudge feathers/fans. I am finding them so wonderful and amazing, and have been finding a lot of feathers on the ground lately which may be a sign for me to start learning how to make them (No bird was harmed when collecting the feathers BTW).
I sort of understand how to make them, but cannot find a site that actually tells you how - very annoying yet very challenging ;)

On another note, I am slowly finding jars and the ingredients for my other products that I hope to make. I really need to start getting them in soon as I want to give them to my partners mothers.
I will post another topic on that on a later date when I have actually made them and such :)

New Passion - Bath Bombs!

Hello all, I have found a new passion lol, and its bath bombs.
I have found out how to make them, and I am getting so many ideas of what I want to do with them.
I'm gonna hold fire with the site, and just experiment with these and the candles, and what ever else I plan on making. I want to have the passion for them and enjoy myself with them instead of stressing myself out with trying to get everything done.
I challenged myself too much and pretty much forgot why I was doing this. Yes I want to make a bit of money but at the same time I want to see people happy with the products and to be getting some kind of help from them..

I will keep updating this and showing what Ive done, I'm not giving up but just stepping back a bit.
